Since the time the pandemic has hit the globe, it has left many unemployed with no other source of income. India is no different, with the unemployment rate soaring. Many stunt artists from the entertainment industry have borne the brunt of the pandemic, with shootings coming to a complete standstill and no other source of income available for them. However, there is now a ray of hope as Salman Khan and Netflix India have stepped up to bail out stunt artists registered under the Movies Stunt Artistes Association. The General Secretary of the association Aejaz Gulab, who is also a stunt director himself, recently revealed to a tabloid that they did not receive any help till now, however, it is Salman Khan who has come out for their monetary support now, and the money will be directly transferred to the association members. He added that even Netflix India has decided to take care of them, which is a big sigh of relief for the members who have been sitting idle without any work.
