There is a new revelation in the 200 crore money laundering case in which the accused Sukesh Chandrasekhar was arrested along with his wife. Sukesh is represented by lawyer Anant Malik who has claimed that Nora Fatehi received a swanky BMW as a gift from his client. While being produced in a Delhi Court on Saturday, the accused told the media that he gifted a car to Nora Fatehi, and why doesn’t the media ask her about it?
Sukesh’s lawyer has already claimed in the court that although Nora projects herself being the victim in the case, the reality is she was gifted a BMW. He goes on to say that Jacqueline and Sukesh were dating each other, and since she along with Nora, are the ultimate beneficiary out of the sum involved, that is why they are called for questioning repeatedly. While recording Nora’s statement on October 14, the Enforcement Directorate got to know about a gift by Sukesh. The suspicion is that the gift referred to here is the luxurious car bought with the money extorted by the accused.
Nora, on the other hand, has claimed that she is not a part of any money laundering activity. As per a statement released by Nora’s team, She has been a victim in the case, and as she is a witness, she is cooperating with the authorities for investigation. The statement further read that they would like to make it very clear that the actress has not been a part of any money laundering activity and that she does not even know the accused. She has just been called by ED to help them with the investigation.
