After the phenomenal success that Pratik Gandhi saw in Scam 1992: The Harshad Mehta Story, he has now signed on for a big-scale project for Netflix. As per the reports coming in, the series will be called “For Your Eyes Only” and will have the actor donning the role of an intelligence officer.
The show will be directed by Pratik’s Scam 1992 writer Sumit Purohit and will be an espionage drama. Set in the 70s backdrop, it will be a Bombay Fables Motion Pictures production shot across three countries. Pratik Gandhi will be the lead of the show with other stars too joining-in. The series, co-written by Bhavesh Mandala and Gaurav Shukla, will begin production in June of this year. For the unversed, Bombay Fables has made some of the biggest hits, such as their debut project, Serious Men, which earned an Emmy nomination too. They have also produced the recently showcased Decoupled, starring R Madhavan.
Apart from For Your Eyes Only, Pratik will also be seen in yet another OTT project, The Great Indian Murder, with Richa Chadha. Playing investigating officers, they will both be seen solving a high-profile killing, which is based on Vikas Swarup’s bestseller, Six Suspects. The series will be helmed by Tigmanshu Dhulia and bankrolled by Priti Verma and Ajay Devgn.
