The sudden demise of the Kannada actor Puneeth Rajkumar following a heart attack has left everyone in shock. The actor, who was 46, complained of chest pain in the morning and was taken to the hospital. Upon admission, he was non-responsive to the treatment. His last rites shall be held on October 30. The actor will be given the state honor and laid to rest. Reports are suggesting that the family has decided to donate his eyes. Puneeth is survived by his wife and two children. Condolences have been pouring from all quarters ever since the news broke of his passing away. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi took to his official social media handle and wrote that a cruel twist of fate has snatched away a prolific and talented actor and that this was no age to go. He added that the coming generations would remember Puneeth for his work and the wonderful personality that he was. The Prime Minister also shared a picture of Puneeth standing next to him. Security has been beefed up at Puneeth Rajkumar’s residence as a large number of his fans are expected to pay their tributes to the late actor.
