Earlier in March this year, Netflix had scrapped a version of the show on Baahubali and was re-shooting the same with a bigger budget. Reportedly, the OTT giant has allocated a whopping 200 crores to develop the show. It has now come to light that the makers have roped in two directors for the show. Kunal Deshmukh and Ribhu Dasgupta will apparently helm the venture now. Initially, it was Praveen Sattaru and Deva Katta who were directing the Baahubali- Before The Beginning show for Netflix. Although 30% of the show was already shot, Netfxli wasn’t happy with the way things turned out and therefore ordered a re-shoot. The streaming giant also amped up the budget of the venture to 200 crores, and to ensure that the show was done in the fashion they deemed fit, the likes of Kunal Deshmukh and Ribhu Dasgupta were taken on board. Interestingly, both Kunal & Ribhu are looking to execute the project on floors later this year. The team has already begun the pre-production and preparation for the show. Baahubali- Before The Beginning will be based on the novel, The Rise of Sivagami and will be two seasons long.
