It has been revealed by Vikas Singh, the President of the Supreme Court Bar Association, that the outgoing Chief Justice of India SA Bobde wanted Shah Rukh Khan to mediate the Ayodhya temple-mosque dispute. Although the superstar was willing to help, it did not work out eventually. This revelation came on the farewell day of Chief Justice SA Bobde. In a virtual tribute to Justice Bobde, Vikas Singh said that the Chief Justice had asked him if Shah Rukh Khan was willing to mediate in the Ayodhya dispute. Singh spoke to Shah Rukh about it, and he was happy to be in the mediation, but unfortunately, it did not work. The mediation panel that was set up by the Supreme Court had three members- Top Court Judge FMU Kalifulla, Spiritual Guru SS Ravishankar, and Senior Lawyer Sriram Panchu. However, they could not come up with a solution, and that’s when the then Chief Justice Ranjan Gogoi decided the case be heard by the Supreme Court.
