Finding Anamika, starring Madhuri Dixit Nene, has a new title as well as a release date. The film will now be called The Fame Game and will be released on February 25 on the streaming giant, Netflix, not only in India but across the world.
The story is about Anamika Anand, a Bollywood icon who has it all. But is her perfect life for real or just a facade? The series is directed and written by Sri Rao and has Karan Johar as one of the producers. Apart from Dixit Nene, The Fame Game has actors like Manav Kaul, Sanjay Kapoor, Suhasini Muley, and Lakshvir Saran too.
Somen Mishra and Apoorva Mehta are the other producers, apart from Johar. It has indeed been a long journey for the project, as it was originally announced in December 2019 as an unnamed film. Last year, in March, Netflix unveiled the then title, “Finding Anamika,” and in September, the first teaser for the project was released.
