Arvind Kejriwal, the Delhi Chief Minister, has caused a controversy lately when he criticised the government for making The Kashmir Files tax-free in numerous states. Netizens blasted the politician, and even the filmmaker, Vivek Agnihotri, and star, Anupam Kher, reprimanded him for making this statement. Days after making his remarks, the politician has now clarified his comments, claiming that his statement was misconstrued. It’s been more than 30 years since the terrible incident, yet throughout those 30 years, Bajpayee Ji ruled for five years and the BJP for the remaining eight. It is the responsibility of a sensitive government to provide fairness to those who have suffered. After claiming that the BJP is suddenly promoting a film after reigning for eight years, the CM went on to say that it has been 30 years, and everyone should let go of politics and work towards getting Kashmiri pandits back home. Let us assist them in returning home and serve as a family support system, but it is inappropriate to make a movie and make crores.
