After the phenomenal success of Shershaah, Sidharth Malhotra is going great guns and has been approached by multiple production houses. Among the established A-listers in production houses, Shah Rukh Khan’s venture, Red Chillies Entertainment, which approached Sidharth for a film by Gauri Shinde, has been given the green signal by the actor, who is currently involved in multiple projects for various big banners.
One of the sources close to Sidharth’s Red Chillies development said that there are many filmmakers who are trying to bank on the success of Shershaah. One of those many projects which Sidharth is being offered is Gauri Shinde’s slice-of-life comedy film, produced by Red Chillies. The actor has given his informal approval for the film after hearing the script, and the formalities should be completed soon.This untitled project will begin in the second half of 2022.
The actor is currently busy with doing Yodha, in which he is again going to essay a soldier’s role. After the completion of this film, he will continue with the promotion of Mission Majnu, which is slated for a May 13 release, and thereafter, he will get engaged in Thank You, which is expected to hit the screens in July this year.
Once Sidharth officially collaborates with Red Chillies for the Gauri Shinde project, it will be his third association with Shah Rukh Khan after working as an assistant director in My Name Is Khan and also acting in Ittefaq, which was produced by King Khan.
