Dhanush and filmmaker Aanand L. Rai go back a long way. The actor started his Bollywood career under the direction of Rai in Raanjhana in 2013, and went on to receive immense praise for his character in the movie.
Eight years down the line, Dhanush and Rai collaborated once again for Atrangi Re, which was released on OTT and was appreciated by fans and critics. After successfully associating for two movies, the director-actor duo will now be teaming up once again for another flick, an action-based love story which will be produced under Aanand L Rai’s banner, Colour Yellow. Dhanush, who will be seen in a full commercial avatar for the movie, went on to bag the role immediately after Atrangi Re’s success.
And it is not only Aanand’s film, but, as per the source, another big Bollywood movie that has been signed by the actor with a renowned production house. Owing to his acting prowess and, of course, the acceptance by the pan India audience, no wonder Industry’s prominent producers are lining up to get him on board. The actor will now be seen in his next film, Maaran, a Tamil action thriller.
