Amazon Prime Video has announced the start of the new season of its highly appreciated psychological thriller, Breathe: Into The Shadows. This season, besides the star cast of Abhishek Bachchan, Amit Sadh, Nithya Menen, and Saiyami Kher will also have an exciting addition in the form of Naveen Kasturia.
The show is created by Abundantia Entertainment and helmed by Mayank Sharma, and the production of the new season has already begun in Mumbai and New Delhi. It will be launched on Prime Video in 2022 and aired across 240 countries. Talking about the development, Aparna Purohit, who is the Head of Originals at Prime Video, India, said that the new season of the show was imminent given its popularity.
The stakes, according to her, are going to go a notch higher as the plot intensifies and new additions infuse raw energy into the narrative. She further said that the announcement of this award-winning franchise reiterates the OTT giant’s commitment to showcasing some compelling stories from India. Abundantia Entertainment’s Founder and CEO, Vikram Malhotra, said that they are happy to unfold a new chapter in their journey with Prime Video through another edition of Breathe. With Mayank Sharma helming the show once again, which will be backed with a strong team of writers, and a host of new characters and talent, they are excited to begin another enthralling season.
