Rakul Preet Singh and Ajay Devgn lately starred in the film Runway 34. The film, which also stars Amitabh Bachchan as well as Boman Irani and has been directed by Ajay Devgn, is currently playing in theatres. However, this isn’t the first time Rakul Preet Singh and Ajay Devgn have shared screen time. They previously collaborated in the 2019 film De De Pyar De.
In that film, Ajay Devgn plays Ashish Mehra, a middle-aged guy who finds love with Ayesha, played by Rakul Preet Singh, who is half his age. The story centres around Ajay revealing his new romance to his ex-wife Tabu and his adult children. During the media tour for Runway 34, Ajay Devgn announced that a sequel to De De Pyar De is in the works.
In a recent promotional campaign for Runway 34, Ajay said he believes they are drafting the plot. But that could be a while as Rakul Preet Singh is currently working on a number of projects, including Doctor G, Chhatriwali, Thank God, as well as Mission Cinderella. Maidaan, Gobar,Thank God, Chankaya, and a few additional films are in the works for Ajay Devgn. In 2022, however, Ajay Devgn has already made an impression with his brief roles in the films Gangubai Kathiawadi and SS Rajamouli’s RRR. He has also gotten a lot of praise for his role in the currently playing movie, Runway 34.
