The Hindi remake of the Telugu blockbuster HIT, having Rajkummar Rao playing the lead, has found its leading lady. Sanya Malhotra, who has given some stellar performances in movies like Dangal, Badhaai Ho, Shakuntala Devi, Ludo, and the recently released Pagglait, has come on board this project. The Hindi remake of the film will be produced by T-Series and Dil Raju Productions. The actress took to her social media handle to share the excitement. Sanya said that she has watched HIT and liked the concept of the film. She added that when the film was offered to her, she immediately gave her nod to it. Speaking on the story, Sanya is of an opinion that the plot is very intriguing and interesting and that it deserves a mass audience. The actress further said that she is looking out to share screen space with Rajkummar Rao. HIT means Homicide Intervention Team, and the film revolves around a cop who is on the lookout for a missing woman. The movie is currently in the pre-production stage and will be directed by Sailesh Konalu, who helmed the Telugu project as well.
