Veteran actor KD Chandran has passed away at the age of 86 due to cardiac arrest. His daughter, Sudha Chandran, who is also a well-known actress and a renowned classical dancer confirmed the news of her father’s demise. KD Chandran was also suffering from dementia and was admitted to Criti Care Hospital in Mumbai, where he breathed his last at around 10 am today. The veteran acted in many movies like Hum Hai Raahi Pyar Ke, Junoon, China Gate, Pukar, Jab Pyaar Kisise Hota Hai, and Koi…Mil Gaya, among others. He was also part of several television serials. KD Chandran’s daughter Sudha herself is a proficient actress and an established Bharatnatyam dancer. She is also known for her role as Ramola Sikand in the popular television show Kaahin Kissi Roz. She has received a National Film- Special Jury Award as well for a Telugu film Mayuri which is based on her life.
