Ever since Hansal Mehta’s Scam 1992: The Harshad Mehta Story created a buzz in the OTT arena, movie buffs had been eagerly awaiting the release of Abhishek Bachchan’s The Big Bull which again is based on the same fabric. Their wait is finally over as the movie will release exclusively on Disney+Hotstar VIP and Disney+Hotstar Premium on April 8. Abhishek Bachchan’s character is loosely based on stockbroker Harshad Mehta, who was responsible for the biggest stock exchange scam in India in 1992. Directed by Kookie Gulati and co-produced by Ajay Devgn, The Big Bull was earlier slated for an October 23 release last year but had to be postponed. It also stars Ileana D’Cruz who plays the role of a journalist. Abhishek has some really big shoes to fill here as Pratik Gandhi who played the lead role in Scam 1992: The Harshad Mehta Story has been showered with praises for his portrayal of the Big Bull.
