A few days ago, Karan Johar, on his social media page, announced that he will be making a biopic on C.Sankaran Nair, who fought a legendary courtroom battle against the British Raj to unearth the realities of the Jallianwala Bagh massacre. In the post, he also informed that he will be announcing the star cast of the movie soon. Speculations were starting to crop up about who would play the lead in the movie. It has now come to light that Karan Johar and his director Karan Tyagi are in talks with Akshay Kumar to play the lead. As per a source, the movie has all the elements that Akshay Kumar movie is known to have, and therefore he is their top choice for this project. A couple of meetings regarding the same have already taken place, but the paperwork is yet to be done. The source adds that Akshay has loved the script and the Idea of the film, but the only reason behind the delay is its shoots timeline as his schedule is packed for the next year. The actor is working out a date before committing to the project. Let’s hope that he does become a part of it because the story which is unheard of deserves no one less than the caliber of Akshay.
