Filmmaker Anurag Kashyap, the man behind one of the first acclaimed web series, Sacred Games, which is a two-season old-extravaganza, has called out a fake casting profile racket on social media, which is talking about the series’ third season casting. Kashyap took to his social media handle and shared a screenshot of the Instagram story of the scamster where he requested his followers to report the person doing this.
In the caption, the director wrote that there is no season three of Sacred Games happening and that the person who is claiming to be doing the casting is a scamster. The director also pointed out that he was going to lodge an FIR against the person. The shared screenshot puts forth the requirement of female actors across different age groups who should be ok to do bold scenes. While the first season of Sacred Games was released in July 2018, the second season followed a year later. This entire episode of the casting scam has at least put to rest any rumours surrounding the third season.
