Throughout the day speculations were rife on his health condition and what would the surgery be for. Well, we can now confirm that it was nothing more than a laser eye surgery to remove a cataract. He shall be discharged from the hospital today. Amitabh has had extreme life-threatening health issues in the past and this was mere cataract surgery. His blog related to the surgery had his fans worried the world over, but just a cataract operation comes as a big sigh of relief for them.
