Actor and Aryan Khan’s friend Ananya Panday whose house was raided by the Narcotics Control Bureau, was summoned to their office for questioning yesterday. She reported at the NCB office in the afternoon, where she was questioned for two hours and was allowed to go later.
However, the authorities have seized her phone and laptop, and she has been asked to appear again at the NCB office at 11 am today. Her father, Chunky Panday, was seen accompanying her for the first round of questioning. According to reports, Ananya’s name has cropped up in WhatsApp chats of one of the accused in the cruise drug case in which Aryan Khan is already arrested. Apparently, Ananya is best friends with Aryan Khan’s sister Suhana, and is known to socialize with the star kids very often.
Earlier yesterday, Ananya Panday’s house in Bandra was raided, where a thorough search was conducted by the NCB. As per an official from the Narcotics Control Bureau, just because she is being questioned in the case doesn’t make her an accused. Meanwhile, Aryan Khan, who was visited by his father Shah Rukh Khan yesterday at the Arthur Road Jail, will continue to stay put till October 30.
