Mumbai Police’s Anti-Narcotic cell has arrested veteran actor Dalip Tahil’s son Dhruv in connection with the repeated purchase of drugs. Dhruv’s bank transactions and WhatsApp chats with the drug peddler led to his arrest. He had repeatedly procured drugs from a peddler called Muzaamil Abdul Shaikh, who has already been arrested on April 20 with 35 gms. of mephedrone (MD). Upon seizing the peddler’s phone, his chats with Dhruv came out in the open. Dhruv Tahil had made 6 transactions to the peddler’s bank account and was also involved in several purchases between 2019 to 2021. As his name surfaced, Police issued summons to Tahil, who now will be produced in the court on May 6.
