Bollywood actor Anushka Sharma on Sunday thanked the paparazzi for refraining from posting their daughter Vamika’s pics on social media after Virat Kohli had requested them not take any pictures while they were boarding a flight to South Africa.
The actress, in her statement, mentioned that, on behalf of herself and Virat, she is thankful to the Indian paparazzi and mostly all the media houses for not publishing videos and photographs of their daughter, Vamika. She added that it is her request to the few who carried videos/pictures to support them going forward. The statement added that as any parents would do, they seek privacy for their child and would like to do their best to give her a chance to live freely, away from the media and social media glare.
She further thanked all the fan clubs and people on the internet for going out of the way and not posting their daughter’s pictures. The couple was seen catching a flight to South Africa along with the Indian Cricket team. Virat had then requested the paparazzi present at the airport not to take any pics of their daughter, to which the photographers agreed. The cricketer had come out of the bus and instantly gone to the photographer’s present and requested Beti ka mat lena, hann! It was last year in December, when Anushka Sharma while giving an interview to Vogue India, had said that no kid should be made more special than the other.
