The Khan household can breathe a big sigh of relief now that Aryan Khan is granted bail. Shah Rukh Khan left no stone unturned and selected the best team of lawyers to get his son out from almost a month’s ordeal. Aryan was represented by none other than Mukul Rohatgi, the additional solicitor general of India.
According to Rohatgi, Shah Rukh was indeed a very worried parent. In an interview given to a couple of leading news channels, the ace lawyer said that Khan had gone through the fine details of the case well. He gave Rohatgi hand-typed notes on the case, and although the law isn’t his profession, he was bang on with the detail with which he had studied the case. Available at all times, he was making notes for his legal team. Rohatgi went on to praise the actor’s common sense and perception. Notably, throughout the trial, Shah Rukh Khan did not give any statements to the media. As per Rohatgi, the Khan’s had nothing to do with a verbal dual between NCP politician Nawab Malik and NCB Zonal Director Sameer Wankhede. Rohatgi even cleared this to the justice of the High Court in the earliest part of his arguments before him. When it came to the WhatsApp chats on which the NCB’s case was heavily relying upon, it was said that Aryan Khan studied in California, where weed is legal and that nowhere in his chats was it referred that he was planning to consume weed on the cruise ship. Now that Aryan has been granted bail, his team of lawyers will press the button hard to get him out of the prison today anyhow and shall not wait for his acquittal till tomorrow, the last day before the courts close for the Diwali vacation.
