Fans were elated with the news of Baahubali’s prequel series that was up for a Netflix release. However, the streaming giant was not impressed by the 9 episodic prequel and decided to scrap the entire show that had already been shot. The makers have now been asked to re-shoot the series with a new cast and crew. The scrapped show had already cost 100 crores to the producers, but from what we hear, Netflix has allocated a sum of another 200 crores for its re-production which is double the original budget. The entire script has been reworked upon and it is touted to be the first Indian web series that will be shot on such a humongous scale.
