The shoot of Adipursh, it seems, is in the last leg as after Saif Ali Khan, Kriti Sanon too has bid adieu to the film and her character after wrapping up her part. Kriti and director Om Raut penned the news on social media and shared the wrap-up celebration photographs. Kriti is playing the character of Janaki in the film, whereas Prabhas and Saif will don the roles of Adipurush and Lankesh, respectively.
Kriti posted some lovely pics on her Instagram page from the sets and wrote a note saying that she can’t believe the journey came to an end so soon. She even added that her heart sunk to bid goodbye to the super character Janaki, that she is extremely proud to have played. She also thanked her director Om Raut for giving her the character she played and believing in her that she could carry its weight. She added that Om’s vision is extraordinary, and she cannot wait for the world to see it. Om Raut, too expressed his gratitude for Kriti, saying that it was magical watching her play Janaki and it indeed was a lovely journey. Earlier, when Saif too wrapped up his part as Lankesh, the director had shared the photos from the sets. Adipurush is based on Ramayan and is produced by T-Series and Retrophiles. The film is made in both Hindi and Telugu and has a release date locked for August 11, 2022.
