It has taken almost a decade and a half and a script like Visfot to bring Riteish Deshmukh and Fardeen Khan back together. The film also has Priya Bapat, who was recently seen in Hotstar’s City of Dreams. Visfot is an official adaptation of the 2012 Academy-nominated Venezuelan movie Rock, Paper, Scissor. It will be an intense thriller which will talk about two contrasting worlds of high-rises and chawls. Bhushan Kumar, says that as a producer, he is always on the lookout for something new.
The film has Sanjay Gupta, who has a unique way of making movies, and then there is Kookie Gulati to helm the project. Kumar adds that from Fardeen to Riteish and the cast, there is a fiery combination working on Visfot. Sanjay Gupta, who is also one of the producers of the film, is of an opinion that every film has its destiny as well as timing. The film, according to him, happened when the world had shut down due to the pandemic. He adds that in Bhushan Kumar, he found a true collaborator and partner who backed his intentions in full force. Kookie Gulati, who is the director of the movie, says that he has thoroughly enjoyed Sanjay Gupta’s films in the past, and the opportunity to work with actors like Fardeen & Riteish is rare. Gulati further says that he cannot wait to bring this incredible story to the audience. The film is presented by T-Series and White Feather Films and produced by Krishan & Bhushan Kumar and Sanjay & Anuradha Gupta.
