The rise of the Internet and subsequently the social media platforms has not only allowed us to peep into the lives of unknown people but has also grown to an extent where it has become a powerful tool in making a hero out of someone or even get used for all the cheap attention that one longs for. The recent Zomato delivery row has compelled us to believe how quickly the two sides of a story can mould our impression of any incident. A Bengaluru based model-turned-makeup artist, Hitesha took to her social media account to report an assault on her by a Zomato delivery executive, Kamaraj. The video posted by the lady had the netizens divided into two groups, one in support of her and the other one in support of the accused. While Zomato is taking an impartial stand on the entire issue, Parineeti Chopra has come out in support of Kamaraj and demanded that the truth be reported publicly. Taking to her Twitter account, The Girl on The Train star asked the delivery startup to publicly report the truth. She even went on to add that she believed Kamaraj was innocent and concluded the tweet asking how she could be of any help to bring justice to the real victim, be it Hitesha or Kamaraj.
