The White Tiger’s Adarsh Gourav Nominated In The Lead Actor Category at BAFTA

As the nominations for the British Academy of Film & Television Awards- BAFTA 2021 got announced, it couldn’t have been a happier moment for the cast & crew of The White Tiger that premiered on Netflix in January this year. Indian actor Adarsh Gourav who played the lead role of Balram, a rebellion going against all odds to build his empire in the movie has been nominated in the lead actor category. Soon after the nominations were announced, the actor took to his Instagram handle to thank the movie’s director Ramin Bahrani to have shown immense faith in him. The movie has been nominated in the Best Adapted Screenplay category as well. Priyanka Chopra, who also happens to be the executive producer of the film in addition to playing the female lead, congratulated both Adarsh & Ramin for their well-deserved nomination. Adarsh Gourav has been nominated alongside actors like Late Chadwick Boseman, Riz Ahmed, Anthony Hopkins, Mads Mikkelsen & Tahir Rahim. The awards ceremony will be held on April 11 at The Royal Abert Hall in London.
