Akshay Kumar has donated Rs. 1 Crore to the Gautam Gambhir Foundation. Gambhir took to his Twitter to confirm the news on Saturday and thanked Akshay for the donation. He posted that every help in this gloom comes as a ray of hope and thanked the actor for committing a donation of Rs. 1 Crore to Gautam Gambhir Foundation for food, medicines, and oxygen for the needy. Akshay Kumar acknowledged Gambhir’s tweet by saying that these are really tough times, and he was glad that he could help and wished all got out of the crisis soon. The country is facing its worst COVID-19 wave since the time the pandemic started last year. The national capital alone is churning out 20 thousand cases daily. Gambhir is the MP from the East Delhi constituency.
