Multiple reports are indicating that Akshay Kumar will now start working on his first digital project from this film from next year. According to reports he will complete few films and then work on this from April 2021.
Producer Vikram Malhotra says, “The show was to roll in December tentatively, with Akshay joining us in January 2021. But, it has been four months (into the lockdown), and it will be a few more months before normalcy is restored. Akshay, too, has other commitments. So, we are hoping to get into production by the second half of 2021.”
He further adds by saying that the content is such that they can’t just make changes due to the pandemic as other projects and films are doing currently, “It isn’t a project that we, as makers, can tweak and start (shooting) next month. We’ve used the time to improve the material.”
Akshay Kumar has several films in the pipeline to finish and some to even kickstart. He has YRF’s Prithviraj Chauhan, Bell Bottom, Ekta Kapoor’s next, Bachchan Pandey and Sooryavanshi and Laxxmi Bomb up for theatrical and digital release respectively. Well, looks like the superstar will take 2021 by storm.
