There is very unusual news coming from Chehre, which was released yesterday. As per the reports, Amitabh Bachchan did the film for free and even paid the fare of his chartered international travel. Anand Pandit, Chehre’s producer has confirmed that Amitabh is credited with a friendly appearance due to tax reasons. Anand mentioned that to avoid any implications while filing the tax books, they decided to give friendly appearance credit to the legend. The producer further showered praises on Bachchan, stating that he was so committed and professional that he put his own money to travel for the shoot. Rumy Jafry, the director of the movie, had earlier praised Emraan Hashmi. In a statement, he had said that after they had finalized Amitabh Bachchan for Chehre, they were looking for a second lead, and Emraan fit the character at once. He added that although they had not worked together before, he had heard a lot about Emraan being AmitJi-like professional and dedicated and hardworking. When Jafry had approached Emraan for the film, he liked his character and was happy to come aboard. The director even says that Emraan’s role in it has turned out to be better than expected.
