Live Nation, the event organizer of Astroworld Music Festival and Travis Scott, the American rapper in whose concert eight people aged 14-27 were killed, have been slapped with a couple of lawsuits that mention the organizers failed to plan and safely conduct the concert. The event which took place in Houston on Friday had almost 50,000 people coming in, and it is still unclear what sparked the crush.

The footages from the CCTV cameras show a chaotic surge towards the stage, which caused many people to press together. There are some videos in which attendees at the show are seen pleading with the organizers to call it off and even shouting for help to get CPR. After this tragic incident which left eight dead and several wounded, one of the attendees of the event named Manuel Souza has filed a lawsuit in which he has named Scott, Live Nation, as well as other co-organizers.

He has gone on to mention that these deaths could have been prevented and has demanded a minimum of $1 million in damages. Interestingly, Souza, in his complaint, stated that Scott must be held accountable for the tragedy as he tends to encourage aggressive behaviour and his past shows stand as a testimony to it. Another suit has been filed by one more attendee named Drake, who is also a rapper. His lawsuit has blamed Scott for inciting riots and violence and has claimed that the event organizers miserably failed in providing enough security and medical assistance at the venue. The incident occurred at around 9 pm on Friday while Travis Scott was performing. Meanwhile, the rapper plans to fully cooperate with the investigators and is devastated by what has taken place.
