Deepika is not a part of Baiju Bawra, as speculated before, and the real reason behind it is remuneration. As per a source, Deepika wants the same fees as her husband, but Bhansali has turned down her request. Deepika has been vociferous about pay parity between male and female stars. This remuneration issue comes days after Kareena Kapoor Khan asked for Twelve crores for her role in Sita.
