Amitabh Bachchan, who took his first jab of the COVID-19 vaccine yesterday, is all set to start the shoot of Ekta Kapoor’s Goodbye. Along with Amitabh, Telugu actress Rashmika Mandanna will also be a part of the movie. The film’s mahurat shot took place yesterday with Rashmika commencing the shoot while AB will be joining the sets from April 4. The film will be directed by Vikas Bahl, and it will be a reunion of sorts for both him and Ekta after collaborating on movies like Lootera and Udta Punjab. Ekta Kapoor posted two pictures on her Instagram, one of her childhood memory with Amitabh Bachchan and the other of the mahurat shot captioning, this is how it all started, and this is how it’s(hopefully) going. An ecstatic Kapoor added that she will be finally working with the only actor she had been waiting to work with. Talking about the movie Ekta said that Goodbye is a particularly special subject that has both, emotion and entertainment in balance. Kapoor further added that she is excited to be working with Mr. Bachchan and also thrilled to have Rashmika Mandanna in this film. While Rashmika will be making her Bollywood debut opposite Siddharth Malhotra in Mission Majnu, Amitabh will be soon seen in Chehre, Jhund & Brahmastra.
