Janhvi Kapoor will star in the remake of Helen, a Malayalam movie. The actress has already signed the project and has kicked off the shoot in Mumbai. The movie is tentatively titled Mili and will be entirely shot in India due to COVID-19 travel restrictions. The shoot was supposed to kick off from June in Mumbai but could not due to the pandemic. The film is produced by Boney Kapoor, Janhvi’s father, and Zee Studios. Mili will be directed by Mathukutty Xavier, the same person who directed the original movie. Manoj Pahwa will play the role of Janhvi’s father in the movie. The plot is about a young nurse who wants to relocate to Canada, however, things take an ugly turn when she does not return home from work and suddenly disappears. As far as other films are concerned, Janhvi will be seen in Good Luck Jerry and Dostana 2.
