It would have been an absolute honour to watch India’s first & only individual Olympic Gold Medalist, Abhinav Bindra’s biopic on the big screen. But unfortunately, it seems we will have to wait a bit longer as the reports that are coming in suggest that the biopic, which had Anil Kapoor and Harshvarrdhan Kapoor playing the father-son roles has been shelved. With years of script revisions as well as changes in the production house, the movie isn’t being made, at least for now. Apparently, both Anil & Harshvarrdhan have already started working on their other film, Thar which is being shot for Netflix. The untitled Abhinav Bindra biopic was supposed to be directed by Kannan Iyer and had the biopic plan materialized, it would have brought Anil Kapoor & his son together on the big screen for the first time.
