It’s been almost a fortnight since the Deepika Padukone, Siddhant Chaturvedi, and Ananya Panday starrer relationship drama’s title was announced. Titled Gehraiyaan, this film directed by Shakun Batra will be released on January 25 on Amazon Prime Video. While the teaser for the film was well-received by the audience, the trailer was supposed to be launched this week at Alibaug.
That said, the filmmakers have decided not to go ahead with it due to a surge in coronavirus numbers across the country. Mumbai has started to witness a steep climb in the COVID-19 cases due to which the grand trailer launch ceremony stands cancelled. In an official statement released by Amazon Prime Video, they have decided to take an alternative route for the trailer launch and are planning to bring it directly to the audience. The film, produced by Dharma Productions and Viacom 18 Studios, dives into the depths of the complex modern relationships of today.
