From the producers of Life of Pi comes another hard hitting Hindi film Love Sonia which is already creating a buzz across the world.
Produced by David Womark, the film is based on human trafficking and tells a story of a teen girl who sets out to rescue her sister sold by her parents for prostituion. And her journey as she meets various characters from the sleazy world of pimps and prostitutes and criminals. The film is based on true events and stars Demi Moore, Freida Pinto, Richa Chadha, Manoj Bajpayee, Rajkumar Rao, Anupam Kher, Adil Hussain, Sai Tamhankar and debutant Mrunal Thakur. It has been directed by producer turned director Tabrez Noorani.
The film which premiered at London Indian Film Festival has been doing arounds of the festival circuits and has been critically acclaimed.
The film is set to release in India on 14th September.
