One of the biggest music composers of yesteryears, Shravan Rathod, whom we fondly know from the hit pair of Nadeem-Shravan, passed away yesterday night due to COVID-19 complications. The composer breathed his last in a Mumbai hospital where he was admitted a few days ago. It is said that Shravan was a diabetic, and his lungs were affected and over the past few days, certain complications had developed, due to which he had to be kept on a ventilator. Shravan’s son, Sanjeev Rathod, in a statement, said that the music composer passed away tonight as he was not responding to the treatment at all and asked everyone to pray for his soul. The team of Nadeem-Shravan was one of the iconic music composers of the ’90s and early 2000s who gave many Chartbusters. They ruled the music arena during that time by giving some melodious numbers, which even to this day are loved by all. Singer, Kumar Sanu, who inadvertently used to be a part of a majority of all their compositions, took to his Instagram handle and called Shravan a dear friend and that he is at a loss for words.
