Oscar & BAFTA Nominated Nomadland To Release In India On April 2

Nomadland, directed by Chloe Zhao which has been nominated for 6 Oscars and 7 BAFTA awards, is all set to release in India on April 2. The movie has already won the best picture and best director award at the recently concluded Golden Globes. Nomadland is about a lady called Fern, played by two times Oscar winner Frances McDormand, who packs her van post an economic collapse of a company town in Nevada and sets off on the road exploring the life that is beyond the conventional society. The film also stars real nomads Linday May, Swankie and Bob Wells, who play McDormand’s mentors in exploring the vast landscape of the American West. Adapted from a 2017 non-fiction book, Nomadland is about a modern-day nomad who sets herself free. Apart from the Golden Globes, the film has also won four trophies at the National Society of Film Critics- NSFC Awards in January this year.
