Taapsee Pannu has a series of films lined up, but despite being complete, almost all have faced the wrath of the pandemic, with their release dates deferred. Amongst the bunch of movies which she has, the one that is the most anticipated project is the sports drama Rashmi Rocket. As per a source close to the project, this movie is eyeing a digital premiere and will not go through the traditional route of a theatrical release. The makers are in contact with many OTT platforms, but streaming giant Netflix is the top contender to get the release rights. The announcement is expected soon once the deal is finalized on paper. Rashmi Rocket will not be the only Taapsee Pannu movie with a digital release. It hasn’t been long that the makers of the mystery thriller, Dillruba which also stars her announced the direct digital release of the movie on Netflix on 02nd July. The movie has Vikrant Massey and Harshvardhan Rane in key roles.
