With Daniel Craig’s final appearance as James Bond in the 2021 release “No Time To Die,” the role is up for grabs now. There’s a lot of speculation taking place on Daniel’s replacement, and Idris Elba’s name is cropping up as one of the leading candidates to take over the much coveted role. Speaking to one of the entertainment portals, the long time Bond producer, Barabara Broccoli, acknowledged the fact that a lot of fans want to see Idris Elba in a tuxedo as the next 007. Barbara added that they have known Idris for a while and are friends with him. Barbara says that they have yet to decide on the potential candidate until No Time To Die has its run and that they just want to live in the moment. If Idris Elba is zeroed in to step into the iconic role, he will be the seventh actor to play Bond, but nothing has been committed yet by the producers.
