Shah Rukh Khan sent a handwritten note to an Egyptian travel agent in which he thanked him for being kind to a fellow Indian. Ashwini Deshpande, one of the Twitter users shared the actors’ note, by saying that three photos signed by the actor himself arrived with three messages on them: one for the Egyptian travel agent, which was the nicest of all, one for the agent’s daughter, and one for her daughter, Ketaki Varma.
Deshpande thanked Pooja Dadlani for getting in touch with her and, of course, Shah Rukh for such a gracious gesture. The story began when Deshpande wanted to transfer money to a travel agent in Egypt but was having difficulties. That’s when the Egyptian travel agent, a fan of Shah Rukh Khan, agreed to help her since she came from a country to which the actor belonged. The travel agent tweeted that he trusts the lady since she is from the same country as Shah Rukh and will make the booking for which she can pay later.
He added that for anybody else he wouldn’t have done it, but anything for Shah Rukh. The lady, while on her trip to Egypt, met the agent and thanked him for the gesture. She requested Red Chillies if possible to send a picture of SRK to the agent autographed in the agent’s daughter’s name and her wish was granted.
