Mumbai Police has filed an almost 1500 page charge sheet against Raj Kundra in the pornography case, which has caused a significant furor in the Bollywood circles. Kundra, along with his associate Ryan Thorpe, was arrested in July this year, and since then has been under police custody. Both, Ryan & Raj are booked under IPC’s various sections related to sexual harassment, cheating, among others. They have also been charged under the Information Technology Act and Indecent Representation of Women Act. A copy of Shilpa Shetty Kundra’s statement has come to light where she has mentioned having no idea of what her husband was up to. As per Shilpa, her husband started Viaan Industries Limited in 2015, and she was one of the directors in it up until the 2020 post which she resigned due to personal reasons. As she was too busy with her work, she wasn’t aware of what Raj was up to. In the filed charge sheet, the Mumbai Police has mentioned that the probe conducted by the crime branch’s property cell has confirmed that Raj Kundra was the main facilitator in the porn film case, and a lot of evidence has been gathered against him. It is alleged that both Kundra and Thorpe used to take advantage of financially weak young women and made such clips with them. The videos were then uploaded to various websites as well as mobile applications through subscription mode, and that’s how Kundra made millions out of it.
