Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan starrer Laal Singh Chaddha, the Indian adaptation of legendary Tom Hanks’ Forrest Gump, has officially wrapped up. The film went on floors in December 2019, three months before the first wave of the pandemic struck. It has been shot in more than 100 locations of the country and has finally finished its schedule. Both Aamir and Kareena were shooting in Mumbai for the past few days to get the patchwork on the film done. The film is originally scheduled for a Christmas 2021 release, but having said that, it might get pushed to 2022. However, no confirmation has come from the makers with regards to this yet. Laal Singh Chaddha is produced by Aamir Khan Productions and helmed by Advait Chandan. For anyone who has seen Forrest Gump, this movie will surely be an interesting watch. Notably, Forrest Gump, which was released in 1994, received several Academy awards in various categories. If ever, this movie would have been re-made in India, it had to be Aamir Khan, and we are sure that he would have justified Forrest, Hanks character in the movie in the best way possible. Now that the film has wrapped up, its first look will be eagerly awaited by many.
