The Family Man 2 turned out to be a blockbuster and was very well received by the audiences. In the climax of the season, there is a hint that the third part is on. Raj & DK have themselves revealed that the third season will be happening. While Samantha Akkineni was an addition to the second season and did a great job, rumors mills are on that it will be Kollywood superstar Vijay Sethupathi joining the cast of The Family Man 3. Interestingly, Vijay was offered the role of the leader of the Sri Lankan militant group in the second season, but apparently, he rejected it and suggested Mime Gopi’s name. There is yet to be an official announcement on Sethupathi’s involvement in the third season, but should it happen, it is sure to raise the bar of the show even higher. Speaking on the third season, Raj Nidimoru says that they are behind this time. They have the idea and the concept and even the foundation to some extent, but they are still developing the story. He adds that they need to regroup, sit and start writing so that they aren’t too influenced but are cognizant of what is great and what is not.
