We have been continuously reporting about Spider-Man: No Way Home for the right kind of noise it has created around the world. Just a few weeks away from the release, this Tom Holland, Benedict Cumberbatch starrer has created an incredible buzz in India too.

The show tickets have been selling like hot cakes, and even early morning 5 am tickets have been hard to get. Sony Pictures India has confirmed that from the time the advance booking started in the country, No Way Home has sold more than 1 lac tickets in a matter of just 14 hours.

Besides, 5 am shows being sold-out, tickets selling at Rs. 2200/- are not short of buyers either. In Delhi’s Ambience Mall, PVR’s Director’s Cut 7 pm show is priced at Rs. 2200/- on the day of the release, and it’s almost a sold-out. There are another four other shows in the same theatre priced at Rs. 2100/-.The film is expecting the second-best start this year after Sooryavanshi, which had Eternals releasing on the same day.

Notably, Eternals managed to rake in Rs. 7.35 crore on the opening day, despite a blockbuster like Sooryavanshi in its way. Spider-Man: No Way Home is a solo release and will hardly have any competition from Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui and should start at Rs. 15-18 crore on the opening day. It will be one of the very few Hollywood movies releasing in India a day before its USA showcase.
