Sunny Deol has played a major role in theatres getting back their 100% occupancy levels. The actor & MP led the delegation from the film industry and had met the likes of The Finance Minister, I& B Minister & Secretary and Minister of State for Finance & Corporate Affairs a few days back. Request to make the occupancy greater than 50%, preferably 100% was made. The delegation led by Deol had explained the situation in detail on how producers cannot afford to release a movie with only 50% occupancy and that many others in the supply chain get benefited. The competent authorities were kind enough to hear out the delegation and within 72 hours of the meetings taking place, the Government decided to allow 100% occupancy.
