It is indeed an era ending after Rannvijay Singha will now be replaced by Sonu Sood as the host of MTV Roadies. Apparently, Rannvijay has been involved with Roadies ever since its inception as he was the first to bag the coveted title in 2003. In some seasons, he was also seen as a coach, and his name has been synonymous with the show for 18 long years. The new season will begin filming in South Africa. As per a statement released by Sonu Sood, MTV Roadies has revolutionised adventure in India with high-octane tasks. The journey, according to Sood, is a show of mental and emotional endurance as well as physical strength. He adds that the new season will surely be filled with twists and turns and will leave the viewers glued to their screens. However, Rannvijay’s exit from the show has left fans bereft, with some going to the extent of saying that they will never watch the show again.
