The wait is finally over as YRF’s Prithviraj has announced its new theatrical release date, and that’s going to be June 10. The film will have Akshay Kumar essaying the role of Samrat Prithviraj Chauhan, while his co-star Manushi Chhillar, who will be making her Bollywood debut, will be seen in the role of Princess Sanyogita. Besides Hindi, the film will release in Telugu and Tamil as well. Sonu Sood and Sanjay Dutt will be seen in the roles of Chand Vardai and Kaka Kanha, respectively. The film’s earlier release dates had to be postponed due to the rising COVID-19 cases in the country, which led to several restrictions on cinema hall occupancy. Based on the life of Prithviraj Chauhan, the great Indian warrior and ruler, the film is helmed by Dr. Chandraprakash Dwivedi, who was recently conferred with the Padma Shri by the Indian Government.
