Superstar from South, Venkatesh will be seen again in Bollywood after 25 years. The actor made his debut in the Hindi cinema with Anari in 1993 and also appeared in Taqdeerwala, which was released in 1995.
The actor will now mark his comeback with a Sajid Nadiadwala untitled comedy, directed by Farhad Samji. As per the reports spread out on the internet, the film is set to go on floors from early 2022 and is currently going through the casting stage. And if the sources are to be believed, Venkatesh will be playing a parallel lead alongside Salman Khan in this yet-to-be-titled flick.
While Pooja Hegde will be Salman Khan’s female counterpart, the makers are on the lookout for a big name from the South film industry to come aboard as Venkatesh’s love interest. It was not so long ago that Salman Khan, on his recent visit to Hyderabad, confirmed his collaboration with Venkatesh on a film. It will be interesting to see how these stalwarts from their respective arenas fare when they share the screen.
